The recording of the side event side event "Why universal social protection is essential for inclusive development, peace and security in the present and future" is now online. The side event was held at the 2024 UN Civil Society Conference that took place in Nairobi, Kenya, on 9 May 2024.

The event was moderated by Ingo Ritz (Director, Global Call to Action Against Poverty - GCAP).
The side event was coorganized by Save the Children International, Global Coalition for Social Protection Floors (GCSPF), Global Call to Action Against Poverty (GCAP), UNANIMA International, Institute of the Blessed Virgin Mary (IBVM), International Presentation Association (IPA) and Building Blocks for Peace Foundation.
